Annual Report
INTRODUCTION:
A Report on the annual cultural fest held at NOTR EDAME ACADEMY, Pochampalli from 12.10.2022to 19.10.2022by the principal Sister Mary Abhilasha, sisters, teachers and students with grand manner. The cultural fest gives an opportunity to all the students to present their talents, skills and motivates them to do their best in all around education. This was the first time introduced to the school by the principal.
OPENING CEREMONY :
The opening of the cultural fest was began on12.10.2022intheschool auditorium with a short programme inaugurated by DSP of Bargur Mr. Manoharan, Inspector of police Pochampalli Mrs.Prabavathi along with the principal sister Mary Abhilasha.

FINAL SELECTION CATEGORY:
The Preliminary rounds have been conducted by the class teachers and all the students were participated in the competition.In the first round three student sin each section from L.K.G to grade 8 are selected as per certain rules in the each competition. From the second round they selected 102 students.
For the final rounds have been conducted by the judges based on the norms.From the final round sin each competition three students selected in each class from L.K.G to grade 8 as per house wise (Alosiya,Julie,Gandhi and Tagore houses).
CLOSING CEREMONY:
The 21stOctober 2022 was the day of excitement.The event was organized by the principal sister Mary Abhilasha, sisters and the teachers in the auditorium with short programme. The function started at 9a.m lasted till 1p.m. We welcomed the chief guest and many students are participated and they showed their talents in their fields dance programme,speeches,dramas,etc.,
The chief guest Dr.Narayana swamy HOD of Pochampalli delivered a speech and motivated and also appreciated the authority and the students. The chief guest and the principal sister Mary Abhilasha distributed the certificates and awards to the winners.Finally sister Mary Abhilasha also delivered a valuable speech and thanked the chief guest.
CONCLUSION :
Today’s education system is not just confined to academics but modern-days schools focus on imparting skills to students like personality development, confidence building, communication skills, etiquettes, etc.
Encouraging students to participate in cultural activities is the most effective way to inculcate personality-related skills. These include activities like dancing, singing ,art and craft, fancy dress, drawing etc. Cultural activities enable students to gain confidence and understand their culture in a much better way
The practice of cultural activities will surely perfect the academic career of the students. The cultural fest ended with the National Anthem. It was a successful event of the year 2022-2023.
