History of Notre Dame Academy

Notre Dame Academy is a symbol of progressive and quality education.
Our motto ” Educate to Transform ” captures the essence of our spirit. Education is not a preparation for life, education is life itself. Mary Mother of Jesus as the Patron of our School for the showers of blessings we have received for the years. Where a team works, Dream works. So I believe Notre Dame Academy with proper vision and mission can achieve the pinnacles of success which every dream and aspires for exciting years ahead, as we have began our First batch of ICSE Students getting ready for the year 2025. The school believes in providing top quality education coupled with holistic growth of children and aims to create success and make them global citizens in today’s dynamic world.

This esteemed institution has skilled, experienced and dedicated teachers who give their best to the students.Seminars for teachers and workshops in the use of technology in education are conducted every year to equip the faculty to update their teaching learning process enabling them to build confidence in their profession.

NDA mentors, monitors and guides  students to experience and cherish as they reach the social, physical and emotional milestones in life. Learning in  Notre Dame Academy is facilitated through a combination of academic and extracurricular activities which makes it one of  the best schools to offer holistic education. The school has well equipped Physics , Chemistry and Biology Laboratory, Library, the Commercial section, Yoga room, Dance , Music , Arts, Sports and other Clubs.

The children in NDA observe and celebrate Environmental day in the month of June, Julie day in the month of July, Christmas and New Year and Annual day at the end of the Academic year. They also take part in Spelling competitions in English,Tamil and Hindi. These varied activities prepare the students to step  out into the world with confidence.

The busy hub of activities, creative teaching and friendly learning environment  attracts more admissions every year. The school continues to grow from strength to strength under the guidance and leadership of the Management, Principal and Staff and active encouragement and support from parents.

 In 2022 a new school building was  inaugurated by His Grace Rt.Reverend Lawrence Pius, Bishop of Dharmapuri Diocese,yet another milestone in the annals of the Notre Dame Academy.
